Storage Rates
- • Monthly: 400 THB per box per month
- • 10-Month Season Deal: 3,000 THB per box (equivalent to 300 THB/month)
Volume Discount
5% discount on boxes 3 and above. Boxes 1 and 2 are charged at full price.
Payment Terms
- • All payments are upfront - no partial payments or installments
- • Accepted methods: Cash, Thai bank transfer (PromptPay), or SWIFT international transfer
- • Need another payment method? Message us on WhatsApp - we'll find a way to help!
Pickup & Delivery
What's Included
All storage packages include one (1) pickup and one (1) delivery within our service area.
Additional Services
Need extra pickups or deliveries? No problem!
Service Area
Free pickup and delivery is available in Saladan (northern Ko Lanta). Deliveries outside Saladan may incur additional charges - contact us for details.
Mid-Storage Access
Need to access your boxes before your scheduled return? No problem!
- • You can visit our storage facility to access your boxes
- • Schedule an appointment via WhatsApp
- • 48 hours notice required
- • Weekdays only (Monday - Friday, excluding Thai public holidays)
- • Working hours: 9:00 - 17:00

Box Specifications
- • Standard 50-liter storage boxes provided by Lanta Box
- • Security seal tape included for tamper-evident storage
Weight Limit
Please ensure your box can be safely lifted and handled.
Your Responsibility
- • Pack your items securely within the box
- • Apply the security seal tape before pickup
- • Do not exceed the 25 kg weight limit
Box Deposit
Deposit Amount
Paid when we deliver the empty box to you.
Getting Your Deposit Back
- ✓ Return the box in good condition → Full 400 THB deposit refunded
- • Keep the box → Deposit forfeited (the box is yours!)

ID Verification
For most customers, we only require your name and contact information (phone/WhatsApp).
ID/Passport copy required for:
- • Storage of 5 or more boxes
- • High-value items (electronics, expensive equipment)
This is for your protection and to ensure secure return of your belongings.

Prohibited Items
- ✗ Perishable food items
- ✗ Hazardous materials (flammable, corrosive, explosive)
- ✗ Illegal items or contraband
- ✗ Live animals or plants
- ✗ Weapons or ammunition

Need to Extend?
Contact us via WhatsApp to extend your storage. Extensions are charged at the standard monthly rate (400 THB/box/month) and must be paid upfront.
We also accept SWIFT international bank transfers and can work with you to find a reasonable payment method - just reach out on WhatsApp!
Abandoned Property
When Is Property Considered Abandoned?
A box is considered abandoned when:
- • 3 months have passed since the storage period ended
- • We have made reasonable attempts to contact you with no response
What Happens to Abandoned Items?
At booking, you choose what happens if your box is abandoned:
- Donate to charity - Contents donated to local charities on Ko Lanta
- or
- • Dispose - Contents responsibly disposed or recycled
We always make reasonable efforts to contact you before any action is taken. Please keep your contact information up to date!
Liability & Insurance
Lanta Box takes reasonable care to protect your belongings. However:
- • We are not liable for damage caused by improper packing
- • We are not liable for damage to prohibited items
- • We are not liable for boxes exceeding the 25 kg weight limit
- • Natural disasters and force majeure events are excluded from liability
- • We recommend insuring high-value items separately
Cancellation & Refunds
- • Cancellations before box pickup: Full refund
- • Cancellations after storage begins: No refunds for unused time
- • Early retrieval: No refunds for remaining storage period
